The sexually Violent murder of twenty-one-year-old Meredith Kercher in Perugia, Italy, on the night of November, 1,2007, became an international sensation when on of Kerchers housemates, Amanda Knox, as well as her Italian boyfriend and a troubled local man Knox said she “vaguely” knew was arrested and charged with murder.

I received to review the book “The Fatal Gift of Beauty”: The trial of Amanda Knox by Nina Burleigh, Published by Crown Publishing Group, 352 pages, Publish date August 2011,

Whwn I first started, its was interesting and I did enjoy the beginning, but then the author got into way to much Italian for me. Since I have never been to Italy or studied Italian and even thought I have an Italian name, I really actually just got way to lost and was never able to recover from all the Italy information. Now I am sure that many others may not be like me and may not have as much of a problem I had understanding the Author.I had a problem also with Amanda even thought I do not think she is quilty of murder, I just did not like her. I was also irrated with the title of the book. I do think that Amanda is a attractive girl , but to label her a beauty seemed way to much  for me. I say try this book if you are interested in what happened to Amanda and how she got in the mess she is in now, and if your a fan of Italy and can understand and knowwhat the author is talking  about Italy. I say read this one and judge for yourself. This is my honest opinion.

RAIN PLAYS BAREFOOT

 

08/02/11: Being a 58 year old Woman, I was not sure how I was going to like this book about a young girl called Rain, but I loved it. Rain was a beautiful girl and the book was well written.I would have loved to keep on reading more about Rain growing into a beautiful young woman after coming of age like all of us girls did and all of the many that come after Rain will. I am so glad I was able to read and review Rain Plays Barefoot for Jennifer and hope in the future to be able to read more and review more books like this one for Jenifer. I do not think this book has any age restrictions because it is a wonderful read for all ages.Buy this and you will fall in love with Rain as I did. RAIN PLAYS BAREFOOT by Jennifer Steen. I love love it and all the characters and loved how they all interacted with each other. I really felt like they were my friend by the end of the book and would love to read more about them in another book. hint hint. And even thought I am an animal lover, the decription of the events had to be described that way and it worked out well and even thought it took me almost to the end to figure it out that was great. This was a perfect read for me. This was a great book and do yourself a big favor and read it, you will not be sorry in my opinion. The book was sent to me free from Water Book Press for my Honest Opinion

I loved this book…it was alot of fun to read and all the characters were fun and made you want to keep reading,  I loved the two main characters and how they went together so well. I love books that make you wish you could take the characters place. I suggest to give this one a try for yourself so you can see what I mean, you will love it too and will want to read it again just to make sure you got all the juicy info..

The 3rd book in the series and as great as the other 2. if your looking for a very good series of books to read, please do yourself a favor and read these, they are so good and I am really sad they ended..I cannot say enought about these. take my word and read..

This book is just as fun and enjoyable as the 1st in the series..you can not go wrong by reading this series..it is awesome and one you will nt want to stop reading. you actually feel like all of  the characters are your friends. I love this series. and I am so excited about the 3rd book Big Boned..I wish thay never end.
